Sugar Events was founded through Sahil Mehta, a bhangra dancer and music enthusiast in his own right, all starting through a habit of being asked to connect his iPod at parties throughout high school and long road trips.

Fast forwarding to present day and with a decade of experience, the team has grown into multi-ops with several headlining DJs, day-of coordinators, MCs, dhol players, and dance choreographers & performers all dedicated to creating the sweetest memories at your event.

With every member of the team balancing both western and South-Asian cultures, we blend a mix of Desi music of all genres (Bollywood, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, etc.) with American Pop, Hip-Hop & more, alongside providing guidance on how to help construct your event's timeline and executing it perfectly.
